World Famous New York International Auto Show

The Javits Center is a large convention center located on Eleventh Avenue in NYC. Architect James Ingo Freed designed the behemoth structure in 1986. The center is named after Jacob Javits. The event center has a total area of 1,800,000 square feet, making it suitable to host any large event. It is the twelfth largest event center in America. Prestigious events such as NY Comic Con and NY Auto Show happens at the Javits Center.

What can you expect from the event

The New York International Auto Show (NYIAS) is an annual event held in Manhattan during Easter. NYIAS is one of the longest running auto expositions in the world. The event started at the dawn of 20th century and is still going strong. NYIAS began in the year 1900, as the first automotive exhibition that was conducted in United States of America. Every year since then, it has returned to the greatest city in the world, regardless of the political and economic situations.

During the auto show, visitors can witness some of the hottest cars and trucks under one roof. This year’s display includes brand new 2015 and 2016 production models, along with conceptual vehicles. The show brings every car sold in US under a single roof, thereby assisting customers in live comparison.

There are special vehicle exhibits in the show like Camp Jeep - Inner Roadway, LI Dip and Customs - Level 1, Safe Harbor West - Level 1 and many more. NYIAS is a prestigious global event and is attended by car manufacturers from around the world. The auto show is also full of fun filled activities for children.

Event Date: The event happens from April 3, 2015 until April 12, 2015. The show hours are as below:

  • Monday - Saturday: 10 am to 10 pm, and 
  • Sundays: 10 am to 7 pm.
