Travelling to Houston, Experience Nasa

The world, with its vast array of natural objects and phenomena, is truly amazing. Human beings can never truly appreciate the beauty this world possesses and all the wonders it brings with it. Perhaps the only thing that trumps the world’s beauty is that which is outside it. That enormous stretch called Space, in which our planet is floating like a speck of dust among countless others.

Millions of people in this world would love to experience space, but as of now it is not possible for common people to travel outside the world. The best they can have, however, is to visit the NASA headquarters if they are ever travelling to Houston, to see and experience everything that makes space travel possible.

Walk Inside a Shuttle:

One of the most interesting things about space travel is the shuttle that makes it all happen. If you are interested in it then you’re in luck because the Space Center has a replica placed right outside. It is a 54 feet high and 122.7 feet long marvel of engineering replicated in the same design using NASA’s original schematics for the actual machine.

A 36 Story Tall Restored Rocket:

The Saturn V is the rocket whose design helped in the success of the Apollo missions. It is one of the three left of its kind and is a sight to marvel at. This 36 story tall rocket might just be enough to make you want to experience NASA if you are ever travelling to Houston.

See What Inspired Sci-Fi Movies:

The Galileo Shuttlecraft is an iconic ship that has inspired a number of innovators to use such designs in their sci-fi movies. This is now on permanent display at the Space Station after a restoration project by two Star Trek fans that lasted a year.

Learn About Space:

If you are more interested in the science of space travel, then NASA has you covered on that end as well. You can take part in special science shows that make advanced scientific concepts easy to understand.

If you are taking children with you who like to know about space travel, there are also specialized events and lectures for children that are aimed at igniting their interest in the field. They can meet actual astronauts as well and have conversations with them every Friday.

If you want to take this meeting to the next level, you can opt to have lunch with an astronaut as well. You can talk about whatever you like, from stories about space journeys to the science behind the whole process.

Whether an adult or a child, the Space Center has something for everyone. Space travel always sounds too good and exciting to be true, but seeing everything that makes it possible right in front of you and experiencing it firsthand could be a dream come true for you and your family. So if you’re ever traveling to Houston, be sure to check out what NASA has to offer and experience space travel like you have never before.
