The Largest Auto Show is Back
The Chicago Auto Show is a much-awaited event that is organised every year in Chicago where arrays of automobiles are displayed much to the locals as well as the tourists. It is the largest auto show in the country.
In the year 2015, the Chicago Auto Show will last from the 14th of February until the 22nd of February and will feature vehicles from Lexus, Volkswagen, BMW, Audi, Cadillac, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Hyundai, Honda, Nissan, Toyota, Porsche and many more.
Where will the Chicago Auto Show be held?
The magnificent Chicago Auto Show will be organised at the McCormick Place, which is extended over an area of 2.7 million square feet. The widespread show requires a month of preparations and hard work by hundreds of skilled workers.
What are the Timings of the Chicago Auto Show?
The Chicago Auto Show is a nine-day-long event, which will last from 9am to 10pm except on the day of its closing when it closes at 8pm. This year, although the show ends a day earlier than it did in previous year it lasts an hour longer every day.
2015 Chicago Auto Show Chairman John Webb believes that these changes will benefit the buyers as well as the exhibitors as the new timings provide new opportunities and best value to reach out to new customers.
Main attractions of the Chicago Auto Show
This year the vehicle enthusiasts are in for a treat as the Chicago Auto Show will organise more than 1,000 vehicle exhibitions including imported and domestic SUVs, cars and other concept vehicles. Some of the major attractions of the 2015 Chicago Auto Show are as follows:

One of the main attractions of the show is the three dimensional promotional concept car created by Toyota and Nickelodeon, in partnership. This concept car was designed to promote The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge out of Water.
The concept car will be displayed at the 107th Chicago Auto Show and will prove to be one of the main attractions. This intelligently designed concept car has a custom-made SpongeBob SquarePants exterior complete with an Incredibubble mask that blows actual bubbles. The interiors of the car include seating features inspired by the Bikini bottom pals of SpongeBob while the steering wheel is designed as the Captain's steering wheel. This concept car is sure to dazzle the young and old alike.
The Chicago Auto Show also organises a black tie charity event every year, which raised a sum of $2.36 million in the year 2014 for the local charities. This year however, the fundraising event is expected to raise even a bigger sum of money than last year.
The Chicago Auto Show features an indoor track to test drive SUVs, trucks, cars, etc. and exhibits various other mesmerizing features to attract even more visitors.
