The Great Spring Egg Hunt at the Jacksonville Zoo
Jacksonville Zoo has a large of exotic animals and rare plant species. The zoo is one of the most well-known attractions in Jacksonville. Jacksonville Zoo started in 2004 as an African Savana experience. Children surely love to see their favorite animals and learn about new animals during their visit.
The zoo has a vast variety of garden exhibits and animals for guests to explore. Some of the famous animal exhibits at the zoo include the Great Apes, River Valley Aviary, Jaguars, Titanoboa, Asian and Australian adventure, and many more. In addition to various community events throughout the year, the “After Dark Explorations” is a unique event that happens at the zoo, which takes guests behind the scenes to see the exotic animals.
What can you expect from the event
Easter egg hunting is an excellent activity for children of all ages. Throughout Jacksonville, there are numerous egg hunting opportunities. Jacksonville Zoo conducts its annual Easter egg hunt on April 4, 2015. You could bring the entire family and be part of the Easter tradition at the zoo. The event will be conducted on the lawns of the zoo.
Egg hunt will be separated into age groups. Each age group will find excellent zoo gifts from the lucky guest draw. Visitors need to bring their baskets to collect the eggs. There will also be activities related to egg-laying animals all through the zoo.

Event Dates: The event happens on April 4, 2015 from 10 am to 1 pm. The egg hunt time for 0 to 3-year-old kids is at 10 am, for 4 to 6-year-old children is at 11 am and for 7 to 10-year-old kids is at 12 noon.
