Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show in Phoenix

The Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show (AHS) is a unique event in United States. The Arabian horse is the gold standard of equestrians, with their great agility and endurance. Arabian Horse Association of Arizona (AHAA) sponsors the prestigious yearly event. In fact, the horse show in Scottsdale is one of the biggest horse shows in the world.

What can you expect from the event

The first horse show was held in Arizona Biltmore Hotel in 1955. Since then, the annual event has been entertaining horse enthusiasts in the United States with its vast collection and display of Arabian horses. Over 2000 horses participate every year in the show. From horse walking, competing, to shopping, the annual extravaganza has it all.

Ann McCormick is credited with bringing this elegant equestrian show to United States. Ann converted 150 acres in Scottsdale into a horse training facility for the show. At the event, you can witness horse owners, lovers, breeders and trainers. Each year the event attracts thousands of visitors from all around the world.

The 10-day event has daytime and evening sessions. The funds from the event will benefit March of Dimes, Healing Hearts Animal Rescue and Refuge, and COX charities. Throughout the event, there will be seminars and educational events for the visitors. The shopping experience at the event is vast and impressive, with a unique collection of horse-related items. The show will have something for everyone.

Tickets: The event ticket for daytime shows is $10 per day for people aged 13 and older, for seniors/military personnel is $7, children 12 & under are free. The reserved bleacher seating per day is $15 and reserved box seating per day is $25.

For evening shows (Friday and Saturday) for 13 and older is $15 per day, seniors/military is $10 per day, children 12 & under are free. The prices for all ages for bleacher seating is $25 per day and box seating $35 per day.
