Ride Into the Houston Auto Show This January

If automobiles get your pulse racing and you are always at the top of auto news, then the Houston Auto show is just for you. A whopping 500 of the newest models placed on a sprawling space of 700,000 square feet will greet you in the 2015 show.

The auto show is exhibiting imported as well as domestic vehicles from the world’s top automakers. There will be several Texan debuts so watch out for the specials. There is category for alternative fuel, like electrically run cars, as well.

The energy pavilion will highlight the recent innovations in the auto industry. Overall, it is going to be celebration of the latest that the auto industry has to offer in terms of technology and design.

The Entry

You need to buy entry tickets for this auto show that come at $12 for adults and $5 for children between the ages of 6 and 12 years. Your tiny tots below 6 years of age get a free entry. The sale of tickets will start on Monday, January 5th, 2015.

Parking facility is also available at the venue but you will have to shell out $10 to secure a space. It is recommended that you reserve a parking space if travelling by your own car because a huge turnout is expected especially around the weekend.

Ticket Sale Tickets shall be available at the venue, internet and designated outlets. You may buy tickets from the comfort of your home at ticketmaster and they will be delivered to you promptly. All Ticketmaster outlets are going to sell the tickets for this much-anticipated event and you can reach them on 800.745.3000 by phone.

The website of NRG centre also leads to ticketmaster for ticket booking. The south ticket window of NRG stadium, which is also the venue, will be selling tickd during normal working hours. On the days of show, both credit and cash will be accepted for buying the entry tickets.

The Venue and the Timings

The Houston Auto Show will kick-start on 21st January, 2015 at 12 PM. It will be held every day at the same venue until 25th January. The show timings from 21st to 23rd are between 12 pm to 9.30 pm.

The opening time of both 24th and 25th January show is 10 am but the on the last day the show will close a little earlier at 7 PM. However, the admittance will be closed about 45 minutes prior to the closing time on all days.

The venue is the popular NRG Centre, Houston, Texas 77054. There is also a kid’s fun zone to entertain your child brigade as you enjoy the auto show yourself. The Centre’s website is exhaustive and contains information on the parking and public transport facilities to and from the venue.
