Holly Jolly Christmas Family Fun in Jacksonville
Jacksonville is filled with Christmas family fun for a holly jolly time! It is the best time of the year for ice skating, viewing Christmas lights, building a snowman or eating breakfast with the jolly man himself, Santa Claus. In case you didn’t hear, Jacksonville is the festive Christmas place this year!
Breakfast with Santa: Santa arrives at Glen Kernan Country Club on December 20th, 2014 for breakfast with Jacksonville’s children. Families will enjoy an amazing breakfast with elves serving as hosts. Visitors are invited to bring cameras for a special photo opportunity with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Guests are presented with a Christmas goodie bag. The country club is located at 4590 Glen Kernan Parkway East. Call the country club for advanced ticket purchases and schedule.
Frozen Wonderland: Frozen Wonderland is an event sponsored by TNT Gymnastics and Fitness. Children are invited to have a photo taken with Olaf from the movie Frozen. Visitors will enjoy building snowmen in artificial snow. As the snow glows white at TNT Gymnastics and Fitness, visitors may enjoy open gym playtime at no additional charge. TNT Gymnastics and Fitness is located at 2683 St. Johns Bluff Road South. Ticket information is available online for a true Frozen Wonderland experience.
Jax Illuminations: Jax Illuminations is a mile-long musically synchronized light show. Visitors enjoy over 500,000 LED lights from the climate controlled comfort of the family vehicle. The display is located at 3800 St. Johns Bluff Road South. All generations are sure to enjoy the Christmas tree, presents and hot air balloon displays. Snow Days: Jacksonville Ice and Sportsplex offers public ice skating from December 14th, 2014 through January 3rd, 2015. Families may burn off excess calories from too many Christmas goodies and create an annual tradition skating in a winter wonderland.
