Check out the Pivot Arts Festival 2015 in Chicago
Pivot Arts is part of North Chicago’s theater scene. It develops novel work, collaborates between performers and producers, and presents performances throughout the year.
What can you expect from the event?
In 2015, Pivot Arts will be conducting their 3rd annual arts festival. The theme for this year’s festival will be “Celebrate Community”. The theme for 2014 was “Art Meets Science”. The events will be conducted in Edgewater and Uptown areas. There will also be a puppet parade by Swift School to showcase diversity. The parade is scheduled for May 30.
The Pivot Arts Festival is a unique celebration of innovative performances in theatre and music. During the event, the audiences will have the chance to witness a variety of shows over a two-week period. There will be comedy shows, puppet shows, along with music performances. There will be programs for all ages. The shows will be full of high quality and innovative work by some of the finest artists in Chicago.
For children, there will be special shows by Circesteem, Merry Music Makers, Swift School and many others. Some of the artists who will be performing in this year’s festival are Lizi Breit, Edgewater Workbench, Lucky Plush Productions, and Neo-Futurists. The festival will happen in a variety of community grounds around the uptown area.

Tickets: The individual event tickets range from free to $20. They also offer passes for performance packages range from $20 to $45.
