Enjoy Philadelphia's Halloween Masquerade Ball

Halloween is on a Friday this year, and that means the parties and celebrations can go all weekend long. Philadelphia is the perfect destination for Halloween. The whole weekend is ripe with parties and events for Halloween lovers of all ages. Whether you are looking for trick-or-treat activities for kids or earth shattering parties for adults, Philly can offer it all over the city.

For those who like to dress up and have fun on Halloween, get out to one of the many Halloween parties in the area. The masquerade ball at Cairnwood Estate is quite famous around Philly among adults.

History of Cairnwood Estate:

The Cairnwood estate was built in the late 19th century. Carrère and Hastings designed the Estate Beaux Arts style. The estate is embellished with classical Greek and French revival ideas. The architecture is predominately Roman. The exterior side of the estate has touch of the countryside to it. The estate was considered quite stylish for its time (the gilded age). Cairnwood Estate offers events for all ages. Their Victorian Carriage event and Candy Apple workshop are geared towards a family friendly environment. They also offer the other end of spectrum through their summer wine tasting, which makes a great date night event.

As the name suggests, a mask is mandatory to gain entry into the Masquerade ball. However, black tie attire is optional. You could enter in your scariest Halloween suits and dresses, along with a mask. Prior registration is required to attend the event. Hurry up as the spaces fill up quite fast. Families and friends can have a great time dancing, tasting wine and gorging on sumptuous appetizers.

Price: Members: $30 and Non-Members: $50.

Event Time: October 31 from 8:30 PM - 11:00 PM.

Event Location: Cairnwood Estate 1005 Cathedral Rd. Bryn Athyn, PA 19009.

For more details about the event call 215-947-2004.

Do not miss the best dancing night on Halloween. Have a spook-tacular time this year!
