Check out the 14th Annual San Francisco Sketchfest
David Owen, Cole Stratton and Janet Varney founded the San Francisco Sketchfest in 2001. The initial purpose of the Sketchfest was to showcase the talents of six Bay Area comedy groups: The Fresh Robots, Kasper Hauser, Please Leave the Bronx, Meehan Brothers, Totally False People and White Noise Radio Theatre. Due to the initial success, the event has happened every year.
Every year audiences have flocked to the festival and enjoyed its varied program design. Some of the prominent performers in the event since its inception included members of Saturday Night Live, Arrested Development, The Upright Citizens Brigade, The State and more. San Francisco Sketchfest provides an excellent opportunity for both performers and audiences. Performers can interact with interested audiences, and audiences can have a close view of their favorite artists.
